Free Taster Sessions
Even beginners will be playing a full drum kit on their first taster class. We offer free 30 minute taster lessons to give you the opportunity to come down to the studio, have a chat about your personal goals and play drums. This helps us tailor every class to each individual student, but also gives you the opportunity to tell us what it is you’re looking to achieve, e.g – Grades 1-8 (Trinity Rock School), just playing along to your favourite tunes, or for more advanced students, which areas you wish to improve.

Beginner
For the beginners you will be learning to play on a full drum-kit from your very first lesson. It will involve basic drum grooves and basic drum-notation to get you started.

- Subdivisions around the drums
- Learning & understanding rudiments
Intermediate
Introducing linear patterns within playing, understanding different rhythms from around the world (Latin, Cuban rhythms, etc.). You will begin to understand and play different time signatures & technique/concepts.

Advanced
For the more experienced drummer, your first lesson will give an idea of your ability. Once we have assessed your level of drumming we can then proceed to improve any and all aspects of your drumming technique so you can reach your personal goals and ambitions.
